About

My sculpture expresses what my words cannot. I give form to experiences and emotions that continue to shape me. I explore the connections between memory and stories I imagine.The traditions of my childhood remain vivid. Art reconnects me with the innocence and wonder I felt then, a space apart from everyday life where time seems to fall away.I begin with an idea and allow the work to develop intuitively. The materials I use are an important part of the character and expression of each piece.I am drawn to fragility, resilience, and vulnerability.I find beauty in imperfection and in the traces of the human hand.
